Thank you for reviewing our services. We specialize in the search and recruitment of the best and brightest of technology personnel in the U.S.

No recruiter can be measured by anything more powerful than their ethics and personal commitment to customer satisfaction. In our fifteen-plus years in business, our goal has always been to be honest and ethical at all times and to do our best to maintain the highest level of customer care ... and that's the same approach we take with recruiting.

Our efforts are always focused on giving our best on any project we commit to undertake. We will always endeavor to be prompt, thorough and accurate in all our dealings with client companies and candidates. It is this attitude of always striving to do the best possible job that has helped us become one of the best independent recruiting practices within the industry.

Our goal is solid client satisfaction ... by working with and giving the client what they want and need. We aim to meet that goal consistently.

How We work:

Our approach is to informally partner with our clients so that we can serve you better. We need to know and understand you, your business and exactly the type of person you're looking for. That's why we ask you more questions than a recruiter has ever asked you before. We want to really know what the role is, the duties, and the unique aspects of the job ... and more.

Once we've gotten the details, we begin an active recruiting process (not a search of old files) whereby we seek out the people you want ... the winners who are already doing what you want them to do for you. We never run newspaper ads. ... we recruit. And ... we'll only send you people who've been carefully screened and fit the profile.

We are a TRUE full-service firm maintaining open communications between you and the candidate throughout the hiring process. You receive:

  • Carefully screened and profile matched candidates (9 out of 10 candidates interviewed by our clients are presented an offer)
  • Personality/behavior/skill matching so the candidate can succeed once hired
  • Efficient communication with you: Being in business for ourselves, we realize you are busy doing your job as well as having the added burden of hiring the right candidate. We eliminate any time waste by showing you only qualified candidates who are ready to talk to you, we DON'T call you 10 times a day , we DON'T take up hours of your time "researching" your company when we can do it on our own time.

How we get paid:

You, the client pays us. Because we like to partner with our clients, we are very flexible in constructing a program that is right for you and your unique needs. We can structure an agreement that includes some or all of the following approaches:

  • Contingency Search
    Much of what we do is within this structure and it's a great way to work ... as long as we've got a solid and open line of communication with you on candidates we've recruited for you. The best people - the one's you want - have the shelf-life of ripe fruit and long delays for decisions and feedback don't get results and are very non-professional. Contingency works as long as we have a solid working relationship. Our fees can be based on a percentage of anticipated earnings or a negotiated flat fee.

     

  • Retained or Contract Search
    This approach is most-often used for a very key senior or executive management search or some very time-critical role. We work with you to determine the need, the compensation plan and a fee structure that will be paid in increments starting with a portion upon acceptance of the terms working toward the balance upon completion of the engagement.

     

  • Exclusive Agreement
    This may be a part of a contingency, contract or retained search and simply put, states that Perman Willits Langone is your sole recruiter for this assignment. Under this plan we basically become your agent in this search and you refer all candidates, agencies and recruiters to us. We perform all of the screening, assessment and follow-up with you, regardless of the source of the candidates. This has proven to be an enormous time and money saver for our clients since it means you have one - and only one - recruiter to deal with. It all boils down to determining what your time is really worth.

To our clients we also offer:

  • Market Analysis of available talent in your industry
  • Behavioral Evaluation of Candidate before hiring (a great tool for the hiring manager to see the work behaviors (not personality) of a potential candidate
  • Headhunter Proof Analysis of your company to prevent recruiter raiding
  • Retention Analysis of staff (How to Keep your Good Employees)

To the Candidate

Top-quality technology professionals are the lifeblood of our practice ... without you our clients have no reason to use our service. Because we recognize that your accumulated skills and years of experience in this volatile industry are important to both of us, we commit to treating you with the professionalism and the courtesy you deserve.

Since we are pushing hard to go as paperless as possible ... we encourage you to send your resume via email ... attached Word or RTF documents are best. This submission process also ensures that we have your email address which will aid us in reaching you later.

Once we have your resume, it will not leave our office until we've had a chance to talk with you to clarify key points about your background and to present the potential opportunity to you. Ultimately, you will have the final say in whether the client ever sees your resume ... and you will know the company and opportunity to which you are being presented.

We NEVER send resumes out without the candidate's approval or mass mail resumes. Our clients expect us to send them carefully screened and qualified candidates ... not tons of paper.
